This robotic creation resembles a seven-month-old baby. It is 80 cm tall and weighs 5.4 kg. The infant robot comes equipped with 26° of freedom. It has the capability to crawl, rollover, and twist its spine.
Researchers employed a learning algorithm to create crawling movements, according to a report from Plastic Pals. They were able to achieve the crawling movements despite the fact that the robot did not have sensors or utilize advanced artificial intelligence.
The Pneuborn-13 is an autonomous robotic creation similar to the Pneuborn 7-11 and can stand. The Pneuborn -13 resembles a 13 month old baby. The musculoskeletal structure of the robot enables bipedal walking. The Pneuborn-13 robot can also make stepping movements.
According to Hosada Labs, the pneuborns can interact with their surroundings without causing overheating or mechanical problems.
