Unisys Names Perla Do Amral as New Managed Services Executive in Latin America

Published: 14 July 2016 y., Thursday

Unisys has promoted Perla Do Amral to a key leadership role, becoming director of service desk operations for the U.S.-based IT company’s managed services centers in Latin America.

In Colombia, she will oversee Unisys teams in both Bogotá and Rionegro, Antioquia, in addition to running three other service desk operations throughout the region.

“I think challenges move people, and it’s no different with me,” said Do Amral. “I feel honored by this new regional attribution.”

She believes that being able to manage inter-personal dynamics has been key to the company’s growth and will continue to prioritize this in her new role.

“The idea is to reinforce our culture of integration among teams, nurture the sharing of ideas, and improve practices,” she said.

Before joining Unisys, Do Amral served as operations director at Vonage Brasil. She also spent more than four years at Contax, where she worked in quality control for SAC operations and telemarketing.

She has studied and trained at some of Brazil’s leading schools and institutions, including the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, the Catholic University of Petropolis, and the Getulio Vargas Foundation.
