20 thousand viewers watched direct broadcast from “LOGIN 2014”

All those who wanted were able to directly watch the progress conference “LOGIN 2014” that took place in Vilnius on April 10–11. For the third year in a row, such opportunity for technology fans was offered by a long-standing partner of “LOGIN”, a TV channel “Penki TV” and high-speed fiber-optic “Skynet” Internet.

“Penki TV” offered direct broadcast from “LOGIN 2014” on computers, smartphones, tablet PCs or “Penki TV” channel. This year, the conference attracted about 20 thousand viewers to the screens. The vast majority (over 85 percent) watched the event on their computers through websites login.lt and scena.lt. Most viewers were from the big cities of Lithuania (about 90 percent). Among the users of mobile devices, “Android” operating system was the most popular one.

During the direct broadcast, “Penki TV” invited the viewers to listen to “LOGIN” speakers (there were more than 130 speakers at this year’s event); it also prepared interviews with the greatest stars of the conference, including the inventor of mobile phone Martin Cooper, filmmaker and television presenter Derek Muller, “Google” Brand Manager Sebastian Vieregg, “Cisco” General Manager in Finland and the Baltic countries Esa Korvenmaa, “Dell” General and Executive Manager in the Central and Eastern Europe Anja Monrad and many others.

A lot of famous Lithuanian people visited the studio to talk about technology and innovation. Among them were a popular television presenter and the author of a book recognized the Book of the Year 2013 Andrius Tapinas, Mykolas Kleckas who won the award of the most popular blogger a few years ago, a person who spent one month without the Internet Artūras Olšauskas, head of LRT portal Mindaugas Raguotis, politician Remigijus Šimašius, one of the developers of the satellite “LIT-1SAT” Laurynas Mačiulis and others.
