Published: 10 June 2015 y., Wednesday

The German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported today, June 10, that Diebold is in talks with Wincor Nixdorf about acquiring the company. The newspaper cited sources with knowledge of the negotiations. The report meanwhile has been picked up by numerous other media.

We have initiated the restructuring program with the clear goal to preserve Wincor Nixdorf’s autonomy. According to the management team, keeping Wincor Nixdorf independent is the best course of action to create customer, shareholder and employee value.
