ATMeye.iQ Installed in Vietnamese Major Bank’s ATMs

Published: 27 February 2018 y., Tuesday

The Lithuanian Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2) has provided BSI Technology Infrastructure Development Company with 400 ATMeye.IQ software licenses for ATMs, monitoring of unattended devices and video surveillance. The end-user for the software solution became The Vietnamese Việt Nam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank).

ATMeye.iQ is an ultimate ATM security management software allowing not only real-time monitoring of the entire network activities, but also optimizing the business processes, promptly informing the responsible bank and security services staff about the problems that might arise. The solution features the video surveillance system and special sensors detecting any suspicious events, preventing fraud activities, theft and other attacks. In addition, it allows prompt resolution of possible disputes with customers (for example, when the client forgot to take the bankcard – or if he claims, that he cannot withdraw cash from an ATM) and immediately notifies responsible bank staff about emerging problems.

At the end of last year, ATMeye.iQ has received once again the gold medal of the traditional “Product of the Year” contest held by the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists.

Việt Nam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) was founded in September 1993 in Hanoi. Currently it is one of the five largest banks in the country and by 2020, it expects to strengthen its positions even more. Techcombank serves mainly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and retailers, having in mind that SMEs account for 90 per cent of the country's economy, while only 25 per cent have access to bank loans.

In 2017, Techcombank PBT amounted to more than VNĐ8 trillion ($352 million), which is a doubling of its profits for the third year in a row, with each employee bringing VNĐ1 billion net profit.
