Audores has opted for IT outsourcing

Published: 24 November 2015 y., Tuesday

Audores, UAB, has been successfully cooperating with Lithuanian public catering companies for six years now. Audores is engaged in the sale of restaurant and store equipment and offers its maintenance services. The company was issued The Strongest in Lithuania certificate four times, which confirms that it is reliable and has high solvency rating.

The turnover of Audores has grown ten times during a period from 2010 to 2014. The company continues to grow: the number of its customers keeps growing, the product range is being constantly expanded, which contributes to the growth of the number of the company’s employees and new suppliers. In spring, Audores plans to open its branch in Klaipėda.

Due to specific characteristics of the equipment, most of it is sold through sales managers, but the Internet channel is equally as important to the company’s activities. Website with an online store serves as a source of information. Audrius Trabutis, Director of Audores, UAB, says that turnover generated by online orders reaches about 3 to 5 percent. Online orders for the equipment are usually placed by private individuals who decide to install the cooking equipment in their homes or customers who know precisely what they want.

According to A. Trabutis, due to the growing number of customers and more active use of information technologies, the company is now facing a problem of ensuring smooth and high-quality operation of its IT systems. “We had two options: to hire specialists who would work in the company or to entrust the maintenance of the entire IT division to a specialized company. Having carried out market research and assessed the value for money, we opted for ProfIT services offered by Penkių Kontinentų Komunikacijų Centras”, added Mr. Trabutis.

ProfIT services are outsourcing services of installation and maintenance of information technologies provided for a monthly fee. “Many companies still believe that hardware and software maintenance services are expensive; however, they often fail to take into account the cost of equipping computer workstations, purchasing, maintaining and servicing hardware 24/7”, explained Robertas Ragauskas, Head of the Commercial Department of Penkių Kontinentų Komunikacijų Centras, UAB. “We offer the opportunity to forget about all this trouble for a fixed monthly fee”.

A. Trabutis pointed out that smooth operation of computers is of utmost importance to the company, because all actions of sales managers are recorded in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program and e-mail is used to send proposals to the customers. Faulty operation of a computer reduces the efficiency of an employee’s work, wastes their time and causes the company to lose money. The Director of Audores, UAB, is pleased that ProfIT services help to avoid unnecessary waste of time. “I believe that ProfIT services will surely improve the activities of the company. It is convenient that most issues can be addressed remotely. We are already convinced that problems can be solved in 10 to 15 minutes. When we had to do repairs ourselves or look for specialists, this would take at least half of a day”, said the Director.

Global IT oursourcing market is constantly growing. According to the data presented on Statista website, in 2012, the value of the market was USD 99.1 billion, and in 2014, it grew to USD 104.6 billion. The fact is further supported by the performance results of Penkių Kontinentų Komunikacijų Centras: compared to the previous year, this year, the number of orders of ProfIT services grew by 20 percent. In 2016, it is planned to increase this indicator up to 30 percent. The company is also actively expanding its activities and offers its IT outsourcing services not only in Lithuania, but in Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan as well.
