A banking technology company “BS/2 Georgia” established in 2009 and owned by a group of companies “Penki kontinentai” has expanded a network of ATMs managed by it in Georgia. The number of machines of JSC Bank of Georgia managed by the company has grown from 300 to 500.

Having extended an agreement on the maintenance of ATMs with “BS/2 Georgia” at the end of 2013, Bank of Georgia has entrusted the company with the maintenance of 200 more ATMs. In line with the applicable Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards, “BS/2 Georgia” has performed a thorough audit of the bank’s machines, updated its software, installed network equipment monitoring and control systems.

According to Andrejus Smirnovas, Director of “BS/2 Georgia”, the trust of banks in the company grows due to a constant training of the company’s staff and optimization of a network of the company’s branches operating in the country, which allows for a faster provision of maintenance services of a higher quality. “We have been successfully cooperating with the Bank of Georgia since the beginning of 2011. This is one of the largest commercial banks in Georgia that provides services to both natural and legal persons as well as operates the largest network of ATMs in the country. We have been close partners for several years. Long-standing cooperation helped us to create a reputation of a reliable and solid partner. The bank appreciates our experience and knowledge, so we are able to provide maintenance services to the largest network of ATMs in the country”, said A. Smirnovas.

Cooperation between the Bank of Georgia and “BS/2 Georgia” is not limited to maintenance services. “BS/2 Georgia” also actively introduces into the market its banking software products and new devices that enable banks to offer their customers an even wider range of services. Currently, a pilot project for the installation of recycling ATMs and cash flow management system “CashLogistics.iQ” is being completed.
