BS/2 representatives visited Uzbekistan

Published: 25 May 2011 y., Wednesday

Representatives of the BS/2 Company, which is a member of the Penki kontinentai group of companies, visited Uzbekistan in May. There they met representatives of some of the country’s biggest and most promising banks, such as NBU (National Bank of Uzbekistan), Ipak Yuli, Samarkand Bank, Agrobank, Uzpromstroibank and others, to discuss present and future joint projects and opportunities for collaboration.

According to BS/2 Director of Sales Department, Paulius Bučelis, the banking technology market of Uzbekistan opens up considerable opportunities for BS/2.

“One of the political priorities in Uzbekistan is to reduce the circulation of cash in Uzbekistan to a minimum and to thus seek to achieve more economic transparency. Therefore, Uzbekistan is a truly promising market for the BS/2 Company, which specialises in creating and delivering software designed to optimise the operations of banking and self-service equipment as well as implementing projects in the field of paying for services through self-service terminals.” – explains P. Bučelis.

During their visit to Uzbekistan the BS/2 representatives paid a visit to BS/2 Tashkent, a BS/2 subsidiary company that has operated in Uzbekistan for several years now, to discuss future plans.

BS/2 has been operating successfully as an international company for more than 10 years in the banking technology and retail trading sectors and it occupies a leading position in more than one country of the world.
