Banking Forum in Baku: Innovative Solutions And Transition to a Cashless Economy

The IV International Banking Forum "Cashless Economics: Towards Sustainable Banking" will be held in Baku on November 6-7.

The forum will bring together managers of leading financial organizations, government representatives and suppliers of financial and banking products and solutions. It’s expected, that more than 1000 specialists from 130 companies will visit the event. Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2) and ASHBURN International, part of Penki Kontinentai Group, will participate in the forum.

“Azerbaijan is a country that is actively introducing innovative technologies. At the forum in Baku, experts will discuss how to make financial services in the country more convenient for customers using modern banking solutions,” says BS/2 Strategic Partnership Manager Kornelijus Šišla. “BS/2 and ASHBURN International are suppliers of such innovative solutions for the banking sector, so these companies are very interested in participating in the forum.”

The forum participants will discuss all aspects of the transition to a cashless economy in Azerbaijan and exchange experience in using innovative banking solutions and products for digital customer service channels development.

At the forum, BS/2 Head of Marketing Kirill Ovsyannikov and PASHA Bank Head of Bank Cards Operations&Control Department Zeynal Karimzada will make a presentation “Developing of acquiring business at high-competitive market: Case of PASHA Bank». This presentation is based on a collaboration project of PASHA Bank and ASHBURN International, a provider of TransLink.iQ solution, developed for transaction routing and EFTPOS terminals fleet management.

You can find a BS/2 company’s booth at the forum as well. There will be a presentation of software solutions for expanding the functionality of ATMs - Payments.iQ (accepting payments) and FCX.iQ (currency exchange), a biometric solution for ensuring ATM security - Face Detection, solution for self-service devices and mobile bank integration and other modern solutions for self-service devices. As well ASHBURN International will present the line of acquiring equipment, software solution for the acquiring business TransLink.iQ, and modern integrated solutions for retail.

The Banking Forum in Baku is supported by the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA), Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Financial Markets Supervision Authority of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. BS/2 is one of the general sponsors of the event for the second year in a row.
