By Switching to WAS, SmartSafe.iQ Has Moved Closer to the Banking Infrastructure

Published: 26 March 2012 y., Monday

Any deployment of technology products brings many additional expenses and worries. This is why when receiving proposals for deploying solutions, even the most advanced ones, companies tend to react with a multitude of arguments for and against. Banks and other financial institutions are no exception to this rule: when selecting a new product, they base their decision not only on its functionality, but also on how easy it is to deploy it in the existing IT infrastructure.

The SmartSafe.iQ solution, developed by the BS/2 company, satisfies the above requirements. This module, a member of the .iQ family, has just been integrated with WebSphere Application Server, one of IBM's most widely used products. This server enables the deployment, support, and maintenance of new products, prevents the potential faulty operation of new solutions when they have been integrated into an existing IT system; at the same time, the server does not require additional funds for training specialists.

SmartSafe.iQ is a software solution for automated teller safes that helps optimize the work of branches, make it easy to control the operation of ATMs, make right decision faster, and automate the creation of reports, including statistical data selection, forecasting, and work process improvement. Besides that, SmartSafe.iQ enables remote, centralized system management.

The BS/2 company, a member of the Penki Kontinentai Group, has been successfully operating in the banking technology market for over 16 years, supplying hardware from Wincor Nixdorf, providing services for the support and maintenance of such hardware, developing software solutions for self-service devices, and offering outsourcing solutions for the banking and retail sectors. BS/2's universal solutions and services are well-known and available in over 60 countries around the world.
