Gold partnership with “Microsoft” continues

Published: 30 December 2011 y., Friday

Many years of experience of one of the giants of information technologies (IT) “Microsoft” shows, that this company is very careful in choosing its partners, and it always emphasizes that such a scrupulous screening is one of “Microsoft’s” long-standing recipes for success.

Many ordinary users know “Microsoft” as the developer of the popular “Windows” operating systems, closely related with Bill Gates’ name. However, group of companies “Penki kontinentai”, operating in the fields of information technologies, intellectual software development and other relative fields since 1992, is in a much wider and more complex partnership with “Microsoft”.

Today, “Microsoft” grants a status of Gold Certified Partner to the most reliable partners distinguished for their exclusive competence. Such status confirms that its owner is able to employ comprehensively “Microsoft” technologies by improving its software solutions and developing new products.

Last week, the validity of the Gold Certified Partner status of “Penki kontinentai” was extended.  A team of 23 employees of the company who contributed to the achievement of competence in three categories helped to achieve this. Thus, towards the end of the year 2011, we are proud that the group of companies “Penki kontinentai” has the highest qualification in the following categories:

  • Software Development – representatives of “Penki kontinentai” working in this area specialize in creating “Microsoft” technology-based solutions – from cost-saving cloud technologies to solutions making work more efficient;
  • Systems Management – experts having this competence focus on data center and desktop solutions based on “Microsoft System Center” equipment;
  • Desktop – this competence allows for ensuring reliable and high-quality operations of installation, distribution and maintenance of “Windows”, “Microsoft Office”, “Windows Internet Explorer” and “Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack”.

“Microsoft” representatives emphasized quality and innovation of Lithuanian company’s production, the number of “Microsoft”-certified experts working in the company, positive responses of other members of the IT market, participation in various events organized by “Microsoft” (conferences, presentations of the latests products, surveys, etc.), thus confirming yet another accordance of the Golden Certified Partner status to “Penki kontinentai” (this status has been accorded for a decade already).

To sum up, it is necessary to emphasize that aforesaid status allows the group of companies “Penki kontinentai” to use “Microsoft” products with exclusive privileges, provide maintenance services of such products and, thus, aim for even better results in both Lithuanian and foreign IT markets in which the company has a wide geography as well as high achievements.
