For some time, the iTunes online store App Store has been selling the application software Penki TV Remote Access developed by one of the largest and oldest information technology companies in Lithuania UAB Penki Kontinentai.

Since April 27 to May 6 of this year, Penki TV Remote Access has been downloaded more than 700 times to all countries that sell smartphones, by using iTunes software developed by the computer giant Apple. According to Konstantin Butrimovič, the Head of Mobile Device Software Development Department of Penki Kontinentai, it once again proves the popularity of mobile devices.

“The fact that users are actively interested in our application software for mobile devices, demonstrates the popularity of such devices as smartphones or Tablet PCs. Penki Kontinentai is constantly trying to offer products that are modern, contemporary and that would satisfy the needs of even the most demanding clients; thus, the popularity of our solution among the App Store visitors only confirms the fact that again we have developed something that is really relevant”, said K. Butrimovič.

Remote Access is a solution designed to remote control a set–top–box using wireless Internet connection via a smartphone or Tablet PC. This application software developed by Lithuanians has all the normal functions of a TV remote control and even more. When connected remotely, for example, using a smartphone, it also will be available for use both as a TV control, and as a phone.

The exceptional advantage of this solution developed by Penki kontinentai is the ability for a person to feel completely safe while using this application software. Connecting to remote control application software is done by entering an activation code that appears on the TV screen, thus ensuring that no unauthorized person is able to connect to the television set.
