Office 365 training for those who wish to work more productively

Published: 10 March 2015 y., Tuesday

Several years ago, Office 365 service based on cloud computing and developed by Mircosoft reached Lithuania; it has become one of the most popular cloud computing services in the world. Even though this tool is particularly easy to adapt to business needs, specialized training is recommended for those who wish to master it more quickly and to make use of all of its functionalities.

According to Mantas Vedrickas, Manager of ProfIT a product developed by Penkių Kontinentų Komunikacijų Centras, a growing confidence in cloud technology is being observed in the market. “More and more business representatives choose to rent virtual IT infrastructure, departing from physical servers with the relevant software that require investment and support and replacing them by complex services, such as Office 365, SugarCRM, etc. The training allows employees to acquire new skills, enables them to make use of all benefits offered by the service, helping them to become more productive employees of the company”, explained M. Vedrickas.

One of the few training institutions in Lithuania that provide employees of various companies with an opportunity to learn more about programs of Office 365 package and the specific features of their operation is the Training Centre of Penkių Kontinentų Komunikacijų Centras. “Only advanced users of Office are able to make use of the full potential of the programs and work with them professionally. Training courses offered by the Training Centre are particularly useful for beginners, because consulting with Office 365 experts allows learning to make use of specific features of the programs. Participants acquire knowledge and complete tasks related to their activities. Instructors pay attention to each participant, while flexible timetable allows choosing the most suitable training schedule”, said Vaida Bliūmaitė, Coordinator of the Training Centre.

In view of the objectives and expectations of the company participating in the training, specialists of the Training Centre perform an analysis of employee needs first; then, they develop a special training program that helps to quickly understand the specifics of using the programs and assessing their benefits. The Training Centre also offers an opportunity for the participants to choose which specific programs they wish to get acquainted with. For example, if the company’s employees do not have Office 365 and know nothing about this program, a training course introducing participants to the program package is recommended. If the company has some experience with the package, the training focuses on the management of work-related programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, OneNote and many others.
