“Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras”, a company owned by the group of companies “Penki kontinentai”, has become an official Paessler partner, distributor of its products and implementer of its solutions. Established in 1997 in Germany, Paessler is one of the largest suppliers of network monitoring and testing solutions – it has implemented more than 150 thousand products all over the world.

“Paessler product PRTG Network Monitoring intended for professional use ensures continuous monitoring of networks, servers and data center infrastructure as well as allows for controlling hundreds of different software settings – from room temperature and the quality of electricity supply to the use of server or network hardware resources. In the event of disturbances or an unusual operation of the equipment, the product immediately notifies the appropriate services”, says the Head of the Technical Service Center of “Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras” Ignatas Girnis.

The company moreover provides IT outsourcing services to the business segment, offers network, server and data center monitoring services based on PRTG Network Monitoring capabilities. Having regard to customer needs, the company can offer a flexible solution for status monitoring of IT infrastructure and customer notification in non-standard situations based on cloud computing.

Telecommunications company “Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras” manages a fiber-optic “Skynet” network operating in the capital city, by means of which Internet, IP television, IP telephony services and home security solutions are provided.

“For the purposes of monitoring “Skynet” network infrastructure based on the equipment of Cisco Systems as well as ensuring its stable operation, we use Paessler product PRTG Network Monitoring. This guarantees that our customers will be able to enjoy very fast data transfer and ensures continuous provision of services”, says I. Girnis.
