Specialists of BS/2 met with representatives of the Lebanese banks

At the end of this May, representatives of a company “Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos” (BS/2) visited partners and major banks in Lebanon. At the meetings with representatives of banks in this country, specialists of BS/2 presented new products of the company and discussed opportunities for further cooperation.

According to Denis Korobkov, Head of the Software Sales Department of BS/2, banking sector of Lebanon is technologically advanced and highly promising. “Banking market in Lebanon is considered one of the most effective in the world. This is ensured by successful introduction of up-to-date technology and favourable legal framework in Lebanon. We have been operating in this country for nearly 10 years and during this period, we have successfully implemented several projects together with our partners. This shows that our solutions are in great request and promising in Lebanon”, said D. Korobkov.

At the meetings with bank representatives, main focus was on the video surveillance solution “ATMeye.iQ”. “Lebanon has adopted a law requiring banks to use video surveillance systems, which significantly increased interest in security software solutions. We supply the country’s banking market with video surveillance and security solution “ATMeye.iQ”, updates and new capabilities of which were discussed during the meetings with bank representatives. Banks were also interested in such products of our company as “SmartSafe.iQ”, “Payments.iQ”, “Mobile Banking.iQ”, said D. Korobkov.

BS/2 company owned by a group of companies “Penki kontinentai” has been operating in Lebanon for nearly 10 years through its partners “Tamer Freres” and CBM (“Computer Business Machines”). The company offers the country’s banks specialized software and its maintenance services. The largest Lebanese banks and other financial institutions of the country are among customers of BS/2.
