The violence between the Armenian and Greek Orthodox groups flared at Jerusalem's Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The fighting went on for about ten minutes despite the efforts of Israeli police to break up the warring factions. Each side later blamed the other for the unholy scenes of violence.
