PENKI Offers a New Services Package - Mobile Internet

Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras, which manages the PENKI network, whose services are available at more than 120,000 apartments in Vilnius, expands its services range and offers mobile Internet. Now the Internet is available outside of capital.

"PENKI’s slogan: "More opportunities". Our company is always attentive to the customers’ needs, expanding the services range. Today we offer mobile internet. Our clients are creative people who make new intellectual products. They are becoming more active and mobile, which means that a qualitative connection with the world should be available not only at work or at home, but everywhere, wherever they are - in the cafe or on the coast," says Idrakas Dadašovas, Penki Kontinentai Board Chairman.

High-speed mobile Internet 4G, provided through a wireless modem, will be offered as an additional service for future and current PENKI’s customers. New customers can order the fiberoptic Internet services with a mobile internet, paying for the whole services package from 19.79 euros per month. Special conditions for new service ordering are offered for regular customers.

"Our advantage over competitors is the unlimited data transfer. It is especially needful for those who work with large files, like to watch movies or play online games. Our clients do not have to monitor the spent amount of megabytes; they will be able to use the Internet without the data transfer limit," says the director of Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras Romas Rimgaila.

In recent years, the company invests in the fiberoptic Internet development and new services actively. The total investment amounted to more than 2 million euros.

"We met this year with the new brand PENKI. Our company constantly invests in the quality of services and offers to customers the fastest Internet - up to 1 Gb/s. Today, we offer also a mobile Internet service," R. Rimgaila says.

PENKI fiber optic network (Skynet - before rebranding) celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. This is the first company in Lithuania providing customers with the maximum Internet connection speed at that time. The speed reached 100 Mb/s in 2008, it already grew to 1 Gb/s in 2012.
