BS/2 in TOP 20 Lithuanian Tech Companies

The banking technology company Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2), belonging to the Penki kontinentai group, is listed in TOP 500 of the strongest companies in Lithuania. The ranking is compiled by the leading Lithuanian business daily Verslo žinios. BS/2 is also in TOP 20 of Lithuanian technology companies.

“We are one of the most experienced Lithuanian high-tech companies. Although our activity in Lithuania is not as active as abroad, where we export our services and innovative solutions, we are glad that we are also appreciated here. BS/2 is not the first year included in the ranking of the strongest enterprises according to Verslo žinios. Due to the large projects, we are in TOP 4 of most profitable IT enterprises along with eminent companies with foreign capital,” says Tomas Augucevičius, Deputy General Director of BS/2.

BS/2, which has been operating for over two decades, represents the world's largest manufacturer of banking and trading equipment Diebold Nixdorf in 13 countries. In eight of them, BS/2 provides outsourced IT services. BS/2 service coverage is 25,000 units of equipment (ATMs, automated teller safes and information kiosks, etc.) In addition, BS/2 develops its own software solutions for security, cash flow management and optimization of business processes, which are highly appreciated by the experts and used in 80 countries of the world.

According to Verslo Žinios CEO Ugnius Jankauskas, the competent commission evaluated the largest Lithuanian enterprises in terms of growth and business efficiency, transparency for the public and contribution to the business community development. Key criteria include finance (revenue, profit), efficiency (profitability, profit per employee), business development (last-year changes in revenue and profit) and social responsibility (transparency, salary).

Starting from 1997, Verslo Žinios makes its Lietuvos Verslo Lyderiai (Lithuanian Business Leaders) report. Not all the companies are included in the ranking, only those that achieved the highest results, have more than 20 employees and pay wages that exceed the industry average.
