Penki Kontinentai Group Transitions to Remote Work

Following the Lithuanian government decree on a two-week nationwide quarantine due to the spread of COVID-19, as well as the recommendations of the governments of other countries where Penki Kontinentai subsidiaries operate, the Group of companies transitions some areas of its activities to the remote format.

“We monitor the situation not only in Lithuania but also in other regions where we work, that's why prepared in advance for such a scenario. We analyzed our internal processes and redistributed resources to continue providing our business partners and customers with high-quality services even in quarantine mode,” said Idrakas Dadašovas, Chairperson of the Penki Kontinentai Board.

According to him, a group of companies changed the format of the meetings. Negotiations are carried out in an online-conference mode. Some employees are switched to remote work. Recommendations were prepared for subsidiaries to carry out work in quarantine mode over the next weeks.

In Vilnius, for the period of quarantine, the Penki fiber-optic internet and IPTV Customer Service Center transfers its services to the virtual space.

“The health of our employees and customers is an absolute priority, so we will provide services remotely. Customers were given the opportunity to perform most operations on the Internet,” said Chairperson of the Penki Kontinentai Board.
