Another Gold Medal for ATMeye.iQ

Published: 15 December 2017 y., Friday

ATMeye.iQ, a comprehensive solution for the security and monitoring of self-service devices developed by the Lithuanian Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (aka BS/2) company, received the "Product of the Year ‘2017” gold medal from the Lithuanian Industrialists' Confederation. The prize received on December 15 is already the second one earned by BS/2 for ATMeye.iQ: it already won the "Product of the Year" gold medal in 2008.

ATMeye.iQ is an ultimate ATM security management software, which allows not only real-time monitoring of the entire network activities, but also optimizing the business processes, promptly informing the responsible bank, and security services staff about the problems that might arise. The solution features a video surveillance system and special sensors detecting any suspicious events and preventing fraud activities, theft and other attacks. In addition, it helps to promptly resolve possible disputes with customers (for example, when the client forgot to take the bankcard – or if he claims that he cannot withdraw cash from an ATM) and immediately notifies responsible bank staff about emerging problems.

"We enjoy the fact that our solution has earned recognition from both Lithuanian and international business communities. This encourages us to actively go on – offering our partners even more functional software", says Tomas Augucevičius, BS/2 Deputy General Manager. According to him, since this product first appeared on the market in 2001, it has been updated for several times. Currently ATMeye.iQ secures some 70 thousand self-service devices in 78 world countries.

"Another step in terms of improving the ATMeye.iQ functionality will be its integration with the face recognition software. This will allow banks and other financial institutions to offer their customers additional security measures while making financial transactions, as well as to automate many processes related to ATM servicing", says Augucevičius.
