Companies BS/2 and ASHBURN International, part of the "Penki kontinentai" group, took part in EuroShop 2026 - Europe’s largest retail technology trade fair, held on February 22 to 26 in Düsseldorf. The anniversary edition brought together approximately 1,900 exhibitors from more than 60 countries. Artificial intelligence, digitalization, smart store concepts, and sustainable retail infrastructure were among the central themes of the event.

The BS/2 delegation was led by Idrakas Dadašovas, Chairman of the Penki Kontinentai Group, and included company representatives from Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Kazakhstan. During the exhibition, the team held a series of strategic meetings with global partners, including Diebold Nixdorf, SUNMI, Modern Expo, Magner, Zebra, Datalogic, SOLUM, Bizerba, and SOTI. Discussions focused on retail infrastructure modernization, operational efficiency, and the development of scalable technology ecosystems for retail chains.

One of the key highlights for BS/2 was receiving the Modern Expo New Business Horizons award for launching a new business direction and delivering measurable results. The award was accepted on behalf of BS/2 by Sales Manager Emil Musayev and presented by Petro Pylypyuk, CEO of Modern Expo, who emphasized the dynamic growth of the partnership and BS/2’s contribution to expanding joint projects.

At the SUNMI booth, BS/2 together with ASHBURN International presented the TransLink.iQ solution powered by SUNMI hardware. The presentation was delivered by ASHBURN International CEO Žoržas Sarafanovičius, who shared practical implementation experience across multiple markets. The demonstration included a Tap to Pay scenario in SoftPOS format, reflecting growing demand for flexible NFC based payment technologies that enable transactions directly on a smart device without additional hardware.

The BS/2 delegation also held a meeting with Magner leadership, including Grant Nielsen, President of Magner International Corporation, and Wade Brunner, Vice President. The discussions addressed further expansion of cooperation, particularly the promotion of the Cash Processing.iQ solution integrated with Magner currency counting and sorting equipment. This direction continues to strengthen BS/2’s position in cash automation and comprehensive cash flow management.

Participation in EuroShop 2026 marked an important step for BS/2 in reinforcing international partnerships and defining technology priorities for the coming years. The exhibition once again confirmed that modern retail is evolving at the intersection of intelligent technologies, digital transformation, and integrated infrastructure.
