Published: 16 January 2015 y., Friday

On the 23–24th of this March, the capital of the United States of America (USA) Washington will host SelectUSA Investment Summit 2015, an event for investors organized for the second time. The summit is part of SelectUSA, a government program initiated by the president Barack Obama aimed at encouraging investment in the country and increasing economic growth.

SelectUSA Investment Summit 2015 will bring together investors from all over the world under a single roof.  The event will also be visited by business leaders, representatives of local governmental authorities and business development organizations from various countries, and high-level federal and White House officials. Business leaders from Lithuania and its Baltic neighbours were also invited to visit the event.

The summit presents an excellent opportunity to meet with the leaders of economic development and discuss with them issues that are most relevant to investors. Moreover, the event offers the opportunity to learn more about investment opportunities in the USA, the relevant legislation and requirements, assistance offered by state and other types of funds. Those who plan to expand or start a business in the USA will get answers to the most relevant questions and will be able to learn more about reasons and ways of investing in the country.

SelectUSA Investment Summit held in 2013 attracted more than 1,300 participants, including business leaders from 60 different countries. It is expected that more than 2,500 participants will attend this year’s summit.
