The Penki kontinentai group of companies is proud of its outstanding employees, who not only constantly strive for high professional goals, but also encourage an active lifestyle and cope with unusual challenges. 

On May 20, Saturday, 20 employees of different companies of the Penki kontinentai group took part in the run to the “Europa“ skyscraper, which requires high endurance and willpower. 

Such unusual running competitions are held for the eighth year in a row. The organizers were the real estate development company “Hanner” and the Lithuanian Running Cup team, while “Penki kontinentai” traditionally sponsored the event. The “Penki kontinentai” team has become the largest for the for the third time in a row! 

This year, more than 400 runners, including professional athletes and amateurs, participated in the competition. They had to overcome 31 floors and about 140 meters of vertical rise.  

In the women's category, Sandra Liutke, the champion of Lithuania in the extreme obstacle course, won. She managed to overcome 31 floors in 3 minutes and 56.7 seconds. In the men's category, triathlete Jaunius Strazdas won for the second year in a row, finishing the race in 3 minutes and 16.2 seconds. 

Among the employees of “Penki kontinentai”, the best results were shown by the employees of UAB “Penkiu kontinentu komunikaciju centras”. Among the women, the fastest was Monika Muzikeviciute, the company's HR specialist, who covered the distance in 5 minutes and 38.7 seconds. Among men, Remigijus Baldauskas, Head of the Marketing Department, led the race in 4 minutes and 30.7 seconds. 

Remigijus, who has been participating in this competition on behalf of “Penki kontinentai” for the third year, notes that every year, he managed to improve his result by 4 seconds, and he hopes that he will perform even better next year. In his free time, he primarily cycles, but he goes for a run at least once a week. 

During the event, there was a “Penki” tent on “Europa” square, where participants and guests were invited to get acquainted with “Penki Internet” and IPTV, “Flexi TV” services (they are provided by the “Penkiu kontinentu komunikaciju centras”). “Penki” presented everyone event participant a 15-euro discount coupon for online purchases in the store https://shop.penki.lt.
