Intersect 2022: Discussion of banking trends and technological innovations in the industry

Published: 14 June 2022 y., Tuesday

BS/2 (Penki Kontinentai Group) experts, Kornelijus Šišla, Head of Sales of BS/2, and Abas Abasov, Deputy Director of BS/2 Azerbaijan, take part in Intersect 2022 from June 13 to 15, 2022. This exhibition, unique for representatives of the financial industry, is held in Vienna by BS/2 partner, Diebold Nixdorf, the world’s largest manufacturer of banking equipment.

Intersect is an event that traditionally brings together financial professionals, equipment suppliers, software developers, and banking industry experts from around the world to exchange experiences and discuss strategies for the future development of banking technology and the future of the financial industry.

“The main purpose of Intersect is to discuss the current problems of the banking industry, search for solutions, exchange experiences and communicate,” says Octavio Marquez, President of Diebold Nixdorf.

According to Kornelijus Šišla, Intersect not only allows us to learn about the latest developments in banking technology but also to make valuable contacts and be inspired by ideas for implementing new strategies.

Diebold Nixdorf organizes Intersect in two regions, America and Europe. A relevant topic for discussion in 2022 was an analysis of the motivations of today’s consumers and new forms of digital banking. The participants of the event were able to see a Diebold Nixdorf product demonstration, talk about the implementation of the company’s hardware and software solutions, and discuss the trends of changing banking technologies. The object of the practical seminar “Types of banking technologies” was the consideration of modern models of consumer behavior.

Along with representatives from BS/2, the company’s Azerbaijani partners from Kapital Bank, Jamal Tagiyev, director of cash management and collection department, and Turgut Abdulayev, head of analytics and coordination department, visited the exhibition.
