The consolidation of efforts

The participants spoke up for the consolidation of efforts to combat international terrorism. They expressed concern over a possible aggravation of the situation in the Central Asian region in connection with actions of terrorist, extremist and separatist forces. Russian Defense Minister Igor Sergeyev particularly noted the danger emanating from the Taliban movement of Afghanistan.
