EC, EU member states representatives to have meeting in Latvia

From Latvia's part Interior Minister Mareks Seglins, State Police Chairman Juris Reksna, Interior Ministry Deputy State Secretary Raimonds Blukis and other officials will participate in the meeting. The IM Press and Public Relations Department told BNS that it is essential for the ministry to obtain information about the EU legislation valuing in the justice sphere. Latvia is doing its best at the moment to make the progress in the EU legislation adoption faster -- both in migration, asylum, visa, border guards, police cooperation and in other spheres, according to the IM's statement. The meeting is expected to be attended by the EU ambassadors in Latvia and their deputies from Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and other countries.
