Minister V. Ušackas and Russia's Minister of Transports discussed the problems of Lithuanian carriers

On 7 August, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Vygaudas Ušackas discussed the problems of Lithuanian carriers while crossing the Russian border with Igor Levitin, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation and co-chairman of the Lithuanian-Russian intergovernmental commission.

Minister V. Ušackas stressed that the tightened customs control measures are applied only to Lithuanian carriers and asked the Russian minister to look for a solution.

Minister I. Levitin promised to discuss this matter with the respective Russian authorities and to search for ways of resolving this issue.
