China-born Stern Hu - who headed Rio Tinto s iron ore operations in China - was sentenced to 10 years - in a trial which dates back to the middle of last year. Three other executives were jailed for seven to 14 years. Experts weren’t surprised by the sentences -after the court said the infringement of commercial secrets had caused a great loss to the Chinese industry.
