COVID-19 Has Been Diagnosed To Five Employees of BS/2

Five COVID-19 cases have been identified in Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2), a company belonging to the Penki Kontinentai Group. The National Public Health Center is informed about those cases. The Group's administration closely monitors the situation and regularly consults with experts on further actions to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

On Sunday, after the first diagnosed COVID-19, the area was disinfected with special tools, and employees were transferred to remote work from Monday. The Group takes care of their meal: food is delivered from the company's cafe. All possible contacts of infected employees are being established. COVID-19 tests are carried out at the expense of Penki Kontinentai.

Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in Lithuania, most of the Group's employees already work from home. The exception is those who, due to the specifics of their work, cannot work remotely. Service center specialists or Penki network engineers work in compliance with all the necessary safety measures. They wear masks, disinfect their hands, measure the temperature using a special device that is installed at the entrance to the central office, and keep a social distance.

Since the beginning of October, temperature measurement, masks wearing, hand disinfection, and keeping a safe distance have become mandatory working conditions for all employees of the Vilnius office. At the end of last week, the requirements for the prevention of COVID-19 were tightened not only in all four companies of the Group in Lithuania but also in subsidiaries abroad (in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Estonia, and Uzbekistan).
