Joint strategy

Parliament leaders of Lithuania and Latvia are eager to strengthen bilateral parliamentary relations. This was a key issue at the meeting of Seimas Chairman Vytautas Landsbergis and his Latvian counterpart Saeima Chair Janis Straume. Closer relations would enable both states, aiming at the same strategic targets - joining European Union and NATO - to adjust joint strategy in a process of Euro-Atlantic integration.
