Sweden looks to end drought at worlds
Canada, the 2002 Olympic champion, last won the world title six years ago and Sweden hasn't won in five. Both teams will turn to backups in goal Sunday -- Roberto Luongo for Canada and Mikael Tellqvist for Sweden. Luongo, outstanding in an 8-4 semifinal win over the Czech Republic, was given the start by Canada coach Andy Murray on Saturday. Murray said goalie Sean Burke has a lower-body injury. Canada won the gold at the 1997 worlds with Burke in goal. Tellqvist replaced Tommy Salo in net after the Edmonton Oilers' goalie crumbled in the team's 6-5 comeback victory over Finland in the quarterfinals.
