Russia and Romania for increasing bilateral trade
Large Russian companies that operate in the fuel and energy sector should contribute considerably to raising the volume of Russian-Romanian foreign trade, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov told journalists after a meeting with his Romanian counterpart Adrian Nastase. Such companies as LUKoil, Gazprom, TNK and RusAl could contribute to the trade, the Russian PM specified. In this respect he supported creation of favorable conditions for activities of these and other companies. In his turn, Nastase spoke in favor of increasing Romanian exports to Russia from the current $50m.
