The Statement

The Czech authorities have expelled a Belarussian diplomat from the country in retaliation to Belarus's declaration of an attache to the Czech Embassy in Minsk as personal non grata, the Czech Foreign Ministry official website reported on Friday. The statement does not specify the name of the Belarussian diplomat. In addition, the head of the Czech Embassy in Minsk Vladimir Ruml has been called to Prague for consultations.
