Published: 29 October 2025 y., Wednesday

BS/2, together with SUNMI and ASHBURN International, has opened the SUNMI Home Baku demo center — the first of its kind in the Caucasus and Central Asia. This new showroom is part of the global SUNMI Home network and marks an important milestone in the strategic partnership between the companies in the field of innovative technologies and digital solutions.

Located at the BS/2 Azerbaijan headquarters, the center offers a modern space where visitors can experience and test the latest equipment and solutions in action. The showroom showcases technologies in Business Internet of Things (BIoT), integrated POS terminals, self-service devices, and payment solutions designed for the retail, hospitality, and financial sectors.

The opening ceremony brought together partners and guests from Azerbaijan and abroad, including representatives from SUNMI’s headquarters in China: Derryl Yuan, SUNMI Home Development Manager; Leander Li, SUNMI Home Operations Manager; and Alexander Bespaly, Regional Director for the CIS and Mongolia.

The event was also attended by Idrakas Dadašovas, Chairman of the Penki Kontinentai Group; Kiryl Patachyts, Head of the Marketing Department at BS/2; and Sigitas Šniukas, Head of the Sales Division at ASHBURN International. They were welcomed by the local team: Ilgar Hasanov, Director of BS/2 Azerbaijan; Abas Abasov, Deputy General Director; and Anton Khokhanov, Technical Director.

The venue featured SUNMI’s latest devices, including the T3 PRO MAX, P3, P3 MIX, and S2 smart scales. All the equipment is fully compatible with ASHUBURN International solutions such as the TransLink.iQ platform and the 3in1 universal software, which combines acquiring, POS, and fiscal accounting functionalities. This integration ensures greater flexibility and operational efficiency for businesses in their daily operations.

The opening of SUNMI Home Baku represents a significant step forward in the partnership between BS/2, ASHBURN International, and SUNMI. The center will serve as a hub for collaboration and innovation in the region. The next milestone will be the launch of SUNMI Home in Georgia, further strengthening the brand’s presence and advancing smart business technologies across the Caucasus and Central Asia.
