I’m 37 years old. I grew up in Alytus district where I graduated from a secondary school in 1994. Later that year I joined Lithuanian Police Academy. In 1997 I received higher education there and got a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Police Activity after which I started my police officer’s career. Since October 2001, I have worked for Lithuanian Criminal Police Bureau in the cybercrime sphere. Having started with investigations relating to child pornography distribution on the Internet, hacking and phishing, later on I shifted to forensic examinations of digital media. In February 2013, I was assigned as the Head of Cybercrime Board. As for my personal life, I’m married and I have a son aged seven.
