Lithuanian Government Institutions Rely on Penki Kontinentai Expertise

The Penki kontinentai group of companies competence was recently evaluated by the Lithuanian official institutions. Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras, which is part of the Penki kontinentai group, and is involved in the complex IT services deliveries, won a tender for the supply of computer equipment announced by the Cyber ​​Security and Telecommunications Service of the Ministry of Defence, and a tender for the delivery of Internet services announced by the Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania.

The Cyber ​​Security and Telecommunications Service of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defence is responsible for the protection of cyberspace and, within its competence (together with government institutions, organizations and other economic entities), resolves particularly important issues related to the cybersecurity of the information infrastructure.

The Lithuanian Communications Regulatory Authority is an independent institution which regulates the communications sector. One of its main tasks is the development of competition in the field of electronic communications and postal services.
