Tajik President Imomali Rakhmonov met on 9 October with Jan Kubis, EU special representative for Central Asia.
The Tajik president briefed the EU official on the course of Tajik economic and political reform and discussed measures to address regional security and combat the proliferation of narcotics. Speaking at a press conference following the meeting, Kubis said he is "satisfied with the level of expansion bilateral cooperation between the European Union and Tajikistan."
