Hungary discussing prospects for trade, economic ties with Ukraine after joining EU

A scientific conference on new opportunities of Ukrainian-Hungarian trade and economic relations after Hungary's entry in the European Union, as well as a business forum, opened in Budapest Thursday.
According to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry press service, the conference was organized by the foreign and economic ministries of the two countries, as well as the Ukrainian national committee of the International Chamber of Commerce, the Ukrainian embassy in Hungary and the Hungarian embassy in Ukraine.
The delegates to the conference and the forum pointed out in their speeches the importance of seeking for and deepening new forms of cooperation between Ukraine and Hungary in conditions of EU's enlargement and in the context of Ukraine's European perspectives.
Much attention was paid to Hungary's strategy concerning further development of trade and economic relations with Ukraine, changes in the trade and customs procedures.
