Lithuania’s Economy Is Forecast to be the Fastest Growing in the Baltics

Hansabank Markets improved Lithuania’s economy growth forecasts for this year and left them unchanged for Estonia.
Hansabank Markets forecast that this year Lithuania’s GDP will grow by 4.2% (the former forecast was 4%) and will be the fastest growing among the three Baltic States in 2002, when it will reach 5.5%. 2002 GDP growth forecasts for Latvia and Estonia are 5.2% and 5.1% respectively.
