Increasing exports

Lithuania’s third biggest beer brewer “Kalnapilis”, situated in the Northern Lithuanian town of Panevezys, is increasing its exports to the USA. “To the USA “Kalnapilis’ used to export 12,000 dal (one sea container) of beer every month, but recently its exports doubled and will continue to grow, “ said Mr. Remigijus Sydeikis, “Kalnapilis” Director General. “Kalnapilis Export” beer, which is now sold in the 19 states of the USA is distributed by the US company “Stanley Stawsky Distributing Ltd.”. In the year 2000 “Kalnapilis Export” beer won the second place in its category in the annual competition held by the Beverage Tasting Institute in the USA.
