Lithuania Best to Do Business and Invest In

Referring to the results of the research carried out by the World Bank www.worldbank.org and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) www.ifc.org, Lithuania offers the most favourable business and investment environment among the Baltic States as well as among the new EU members.

In the report “Doing Business in 2006: Creating Jobs”, the copublication of the World Bank and the IFC, Lithuania appears no. 15 on the list of the world’s most business and investment-friendly countries, while her Baltic neighbours Estonia and Latvia hold the places no. 16 and no. 26, respectively.
