Participants included representatives of companies active in sectors such as interior design, food processing, textiles, installation technology, machine building, environmental protection, information technology, construction, brewing, laboratory technology and production of equipment for food services. About 270 Polish companies declared their participation in the mission and more than 400 bilateral talks were held. For many years, Austria has been one of the key foreign investors in Poland, and Austrian companies are among the pioneers in sectors of the Polish economy such as construction, banking and insurance. To date, Austrian companies have invested about 1.36 billion euros in Poland, counting only projects worth more than 1 million euros each.
