Kitron to Triple Turnover of its Electronics Plant in Kaunas

Kitron group, one of the leading electronics manufacturers in the Nordic countries plans to triple the turnover of its Kaunas-based factory by moving more orders to Lithuania from Kitron’s subsidiary companies, as it is very satisfied with the quality of work in Kaunas.
Kitron’s plant in Kaunas is targeting a EUR 15 million turnover in 2003, up from EUR 4.4 million in 2002.
At present the Kaunas factory produces high-quality ultrasound heart scans, rehabilitation devices for disabled people as well as industrial electronic equipment (anti-theft systems for cars, components for military application, etc.)
Kitron plant in Kaunas is planning to specialise in the production of medical equipment in the coming years
In 2002 Kitron’s investment in its Kaunas plant was EUR 3.6 million.
