Finnish corporation “Noiro” – one of the biggest producers of cosmetics in the Nordic countries - plans to strengthen its positions in Lithuania.
“Sales of our main product brands “Lumene” and “Herbina” in Lithuania increase by 6-7% every year and are the biggest in the Baltic States”, said Seppo Laaksonen, Export Director of “Noiro”.
At present “Noiro” has a 14% cosmetics market share in Lithuania.
“We are more active in Lithuania not only in offering new products but in increasing our advertising budgets and expect sales of “Noiro Ccorporation” products to grow more rapidly”, says Eimantas Juknevicius, who is representing “Noiro” interests in Lithuania.
In 2000, sales of “Noiro Corporation” were USD 100 million, including exports for USD 35 million. Major exports go to Sweden, Norway, Poland and Russia.
