In an effort to get its content in front of more eyeballs, product information and advice site Productopia.com struck a deal with Yahoo! on Thursday, which puts the site's product-related content on the portal giant's shopping section. Financial terms of the agreement weren't disclosed, nor did the companies reveal the length of the contract.
The deal calls for Productopia.com content to appear on Yahoo! Shopping's Home and Garden section, in a module titled "Productopia Picks." In that area, users will find selected products in more than 30 categories. "We are thrilled to add Yahoo! to our growing, stellar list of distribution relationships and to have the opportunity to reach Yahoo!'s audience," said Roger Neal, chief executive officer of Productopia. Productopia also has strategic distribution relationships with AOL, Snap.com, Cox Interactive and iVillage.
