Statoil and Prosafe have entered into an agreement for another 14 days work for the service- and accommodation rig Safe Scandinavia at the Sleipner field in the North Sea.
This means that the rig will continue to work beyond September 29, 2004 and until October 13th. The contract value is approximately US $1.6 million.
Prosafe Offshore has now secured an all-time high order backlog, with a fixed fleet utilisation exclusive options of approximately 86.5% in 2004, 79% in 2005, 82.5% in 2006, 62.5% in 2007 and 34% in 2008. Prosafe will continue to work to maintain the best fleet to meet future demands.
