Global Finance, a popular international business and financial journal, has selected Vilniaus Bankas as the Best Bank in Lithuania.
In its May issue, the journal announced the best Central and Easter European banks.
“We are particularly glad to have earned the highest estimate from a specialised international periodical that is designed for the professionals. Different from other Lithuanian banks, Vilniaus Bankas provides its service to over 200 foreign banks located in 28 countries, acting for them and their customers as the ambassador of the Lithuanian banking service market. The customers of such financial institutions are very demanding when it comes to new technologies and top service standards. This honourable award confirms that we are going in the right direction – hand in hand with the contemporary requirements” – said Julius Niedvaras, President of Vilniaus Bankas.
The Best Lithuanian Bank Award shall be presented to Vilniaus Bankas in September of this year at the annual International Monetary Fund and World Bank convention in Egypt.
The Global Finance has 50 thousand subscribers and over 235 thousand readers in better than 160 countries. This audience includes chairmen, corporate chief executive officers, presidents, CEO, CFOs, treasurers, and other financial officers responsible for making investments and strategic business decisions for global companies and financial institutions. Global Finance also targets most of 8 thousand key portfolio investors who control over 80 per cent of all assets under professional management.
