furniture, light industry and tourism sectors which are making excellent use of their competitive advantages are best prepared for Lithuania’s EU membership, according to the Ministry of Economy.
Lithuanian furniture exports are growing fastest and furniture producers export about 90% of their production output, with major target markets being Germany, Sweden, U.K., Belgium and France.
