The National Bank of Belarus approved the plan of issuing memorable coins for 2004

Next year the coins dedicated to the 60th anniversary of liberation of Belarus from the Nazi occupants are planned to be minted. Moreover, the series of coins "Architectural Monuments of Belarus" with the image of the castle in Nesvizh and "National Parks and Reserves of Belarus" dedicated to the National Park "Pripiatskiy" will be continued in 2004. A memorable coin dedicated to Mogilev will continue the series "Towns of Belarus".
According to the National Bank, coins of a new series – "Holidays and Rites of the Belarusians" will be minted in 2004.
The National Bank also plans to continue participating in the international coin programs.
