Nord Fjord, a ferry (72.2 m-length, 14.6 m-width, 3.1 m-fit) was launched at the Lithuanian berth Vakaru laivu remontas. The ferry was ordered by the Norwegian company Fiskerstrand.

The deputy company director of the production department Alfonsas Valainis communicated, that the workers prepared paint, several systems and necessary gadgets 25 days before the vessel launching.
The similar contracts on 2 more analogical ferries constructions are already signed and the work on them will start this year already. As the vessels under reconstruction lie up at the company's docks, so the Vakaru laivu remontas rented a floating dock at the Baltija shipyard.
